SCHURTER celebrates 40 Years in Italy

It is September 4, 1981: Italy is going through difficult times. Political turmoil paralyses the state. Nevertheless, two courageous entrepreneurs decide to make a new start: Kevin S.r.l. - today's SCHURTER Electronics S.p.A. - begins operations in Milan with three employees.

Against all these odds, two courageous entrepreneurs, Antonello Martegani and Giuseppe Molinari, decided to set up a local electronics distributor. The electronics market was booming at the time. During 1981, they decided to set up their own company in the greater Milan area. They called it simply "Kevin".
