SCHURTER Advances Strategic Integration in Asia

The SCHURTER Group is strengthening its presence in Asia and marking another milestone in its international development: effective 9 March 2026, Chi Lick Schurter Ltd. has officially been renamed SCHURTER Electronics Hong Kong Ltd. This change reflects the successful integration and strategic advancement of the Group’s activities in the region.

All existing contracts, agreements, rights and obligations remain fully valid and will automatically transfer to the new entity. For customers and partners, this ensures full continuity in business relationships, combined with an even stronger market presence and enhanced capabilities within the global SCHURTER network.

The renaming builds on a long-standing partnership dating back to the 1990s. SCHURTER’s initial investment in Chi Lick laid the foundation for establishing production and sales operations in Asia. Since then, the collaboration has been continuously expanded, and the company’s footprint in China has been strategically developed.

Today, SCHURTER is further consolidating its regional strengths: the relocation of its Asian headquarters to Hong Kong and the integration of production facilities in China underline the Group’s clear focus on growth and customer proximity. The objective is to further develop China and India as key operational hubs and to strengthen SCHURTER’s position as a reliable partner for electronic components.
