DG11 with Magnetic Release

The SCHURTER DG11 power entry module, which has been optimized and proven over many years, is now available in a version with an additional magnetic release to protect against very high overcurrents (short circuit) at the integrated TA35 circuit breaker.

Circuit breakers are usually designed according to the thermal principle with a bimetal. If a defined temperature is exceeded due to the overcurrent, the circuit is interrupted. Once the bimetal has cooled down, the device is ready for use again. However, this process is very slow. For this reason, thermal circuit breakers are usually combined with a fuse.

New with Additional Magnetic Module
SCHURTER is upgrading its TA35 2-pole miniature circuit-breakers with an additional, optional magnetic module. From now on, no additional fuse is required for the thermal-magnetic versions. Depending on the application, the magnetic modules are available with both slow and fast characteristics.

V-Lock Cord Retention
The new versions of the DG11 connectors are equipped with the proven V-Lock cord retention protection as standard.

Splash- and Dustproof: IP67
The DG11 power entry module and the mains connection cable are fitted with special sealing elements (gaskets) to achieve the very high degree of protection IP67.

Application Areas
Wherever dirt, dust particles or splash water can occur and the highest safety standards are required, these new SCHURTER power entry modules are the perfect choice. Typical areas of application are harsh industrial environments or demanding medical applications where cleaning and disinfection as well as maximum protection against overcurrent (short circuit) are required.

DG11 Magnetic Release PEM
Now even better: The DG11 power entry module is now available with a magnetic release to protect against short-circuiting.
