SCHURTER GmbH is the competence centre for input systems and markets components. Our engineers develop and design the optimum solution for the most demanding applications and diverse industries in close cooperation with you.

About us

SCHURTER GmbH in Endingen was founded in 1970 as a site for the assembly of fuse holders for the Lucerne headquarters of SCHURTER AG. This made SCHURTER GmbH the first subsidiary and branch in the European economic area.

In 1981 SCHURTER GmbH started with the development and production of membrane switches and overlays for the German and Swiss market.

In 1999 came the breakthrough of HMI devices with visualisation via displays. SCHURTER GmbH was one of the pioneers in resistive touch screen applications in the German industry.

In 2012, the capacitive PCAP touch technology was launched

Nowadays, SCHURTER GmbH is a market technology leader in the HMI-Business for industrial applications, focussing on German-speaking markets. PCAP technology and integrated solutions are our business and passion. Our last developments are optical bonding technologies for bonding cover glass to both touchscreens and displays and lamination processes.
